Billing and Payments

Billing and Payments

What is your payment process?

We want our payment process to be as clear and straightforward as possible. It consists of two parts: a one-time security deposit and also bi-weekly payments throughout the project duration.

When will I be receiving invoices for payment?

The first invoice is sent at the beginning of each month, and the second one arrives in the middle of the month. These invoices should be paid within 10 days.

Is there a notice period if I decide to stop working with the developer?

We understand that sometimes things go differently than planned.
That's why we offer a risk-free trial period at the beginning of each project. You can stop working with the developer with a one-day notice during the trial period without any extra fees. If you want to cancel the agreement after the trial period, you can do so by providing us with a two-week notice.

What is the purpose of the security deposit?

The first payment is a security deposit, and it serves two purposes: to give you peace of mind and to ensure that your developers are paid for their work. The deposit can be used to pay for the last 2 weeks of work, or refunded before wrapping up the project.

Are there any upfront fees?

No, we don't require any upfront fees to cover contract-related or recruitment costs, unlike the recruitment agencies or other marketplaces. We believe that finding the right developer for your project should be hassle-free and risk-free.

How much do your developers charge per hour?

Our rates are $35-$65/hour for different tech stacks.
The exact rate depends on the specific skills, experience, and location of the developer you choose to work with. We believe in fair and transparent pricing, and we'll work with you to find the right developer that fits your budget and needs. There are no hidden fees: you only pay for the hours worked by the candidates you select.

Is it possible to have the developer work in my office?

Our Wild.Codes developers typically work remotely, but if you're interested in having a developer working in-house, we can discuss arrangements for full-time positions. In this case, the client would cover all travel expenses for the developer.

Engagement and Process

Engagement and Process

What's the process to hire a developer?

At Wild.Codes, we've made hiring a developer easy and straightforward. After filling out a form with a few initial details, we'll set up a call to learn more about your project's requirements. From there, we'll send over the best-fitting candidates, and you can decide if you'd like to move forward.

How do I begin a project with a developer?

Starting a project with our developers is a breeze. Once you've selected a candidate and decide on a starting date, we'll ask for a security deposit to be paid, and you’re good to go! After that, your chosen developer will be ready to start working on your project.

Will I have direct communication with the developer?

Yes! We believe that clear and productive communication is the key to a successful project. That's why we'll ensure that you have direct communication with your developer at all times.

What's the estimated time to start a project?

The timeline to start a project can vary depending on the scope of the project and specific requirements. However, we're able to match you with a suitable candidate on average within two days. From there, it may take up to two additional days for the developer to start working on the project. You are also free to negotiate a different starting date with the developer.

Can I see the developer's resume?

Absolutely! We'll provide you with the developer's CV and any additional information you require.

Can I conduct my own interview or test for the developer?

Of course! While our developers come pre-vetted, we encourage our clients to feel comfortable with their choice. We're open to clients conducting their own interviews or testing, and we'll ensure that the developer is available for any additional screening stages.

What happens if I'm not satisfied with the developer assigned to my project?

If you're not satisfied with the developer assigned to your project, we'll work with you to find a suitable replacement. We'll provide you with a new candidate and extend the trial period accordingly. We want you to be happy with your Wild.Codes developer.

Do you monitor your developers' progress and working hours through software?

At Wild.Codes, we believe in building a relationship based on trust and mutual respect. Our developers report their work hours through our dashboard, but we don't enforce the use of time-tracking (or any kind of screen recording) software. If your company requires it for some reason, we're open to discussing a solution that meets your needs.

How do you differ from other freelance platforms?

At Wild.Codes, we pride ourselves on our meticulous developer vetting process. We test and interview every developer who applies to join our network to ensure that we only work with top-tier talent. We also match you with only a few candidates at a time, that we believe are the best fit for your project.

How do you vet your developers?

Our vetting process includes a five-stage analysis: CV and experience evaluation, technical quiz, screening interview, oral and written English proficiency checks, and a live technical interview. We leave no stone unturned in our efforts to ensure that every developer in our network is skilled, experienced, and reliable.

Also, at Wild.Codes, we conduct regular evaluations of our developers to ensure that we maintain a network of exceptional quality.

While we don't work with junior developers, our middle candidates have the skills and experience needed to deliver top-notch results while offering competitive hourly rates.

What technologies do your developers specialize in?

Our developers are experienced in various technologies, such as JavaScript (React, Node, Angular, Vue), Python, Ruby on Rails, Java, PHP (Laravel), Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, React Native, Data Science, and Blockchain. We can also assist with DevOps positions, such as AWS, GCP, and Azure. If you have specific preferences, just drop us a note, and we'll do our best to match you with a developer who fits your desired stack.

How does the trial period work?

We offer a one-week trial period, allowing you to test the waters with the developer we've matched you with. If for any reason, you're not satisfied with the developer during the trial, you can stop the cooperation with just one day's notice, and you won't be charged any extra fees. Our goal is to ensure that you are happy and confident with the developer we've paired you with.
