Senior engineers for Australian teams

Time zones: Sydney and Eastern Europe
Kyiv is 7 to 9 hours behind Sydney, depending on the season, and Warsaw one hour more. An engineer who starts at 9 in the morning in Kyiv is online from about 4 to 6 pm Sydney time, so the shared window is your late afternoon and evening. Agree the overlap hours when you confirm the role.
Latin America is 13 hours or more away from Sydney. For an Australian team that is usually too far, so Eastern Europe is the better fit.
Two ways to hire
Subscription. The engineer works at least 160 hours a month on your product, on our contract, and we handle payroll, contracts, compliance and PTO. A senior engineer costs $6,400 to $9,600 a month, all-in, with no placement fee.
Permanent hire. The engineer joins your own payroll. We search our own pool and the open market where the role is. The fee is 12% of annual salary, with a $2,000 minimum, paid on the start date, and it includes one free replacement within 60 days.
