What does it take to be part of the Wild.Codes team?

Sure thing! To join us, you need to:
• Be available for 20+ hours a week (40 hours is ideal).
• Have mid-level+ or senior expertise in your tech area.
• Communicate effectively in English.
• Have 3-4 years or more of experience in your specific technology.

We collaborate with diverse freelancers across various tech stacks. If we don't have immediate projects for your skills, we might hold the communication until the right opportunity arises.

Our clients primarily are small to medium-sized tech companies and startups from the EU and the US. They bring exciting projects and innovative products to the table, offering diverse and challenging opportunities for our developers. What's your tech and industry focus?

We don't limit ourselves to specific industries. We handle projects across various sectors such as fintech, healthcare, travel & tourism, marketplaces, real estate, education, e-commerce, business software creation, and others.

Our technology focus is broad, covering popular tech like JavaScript and its frameworks, React Native, iOS, Flutter, Swift, Android, TypeScript, Python, Ruby, PHP, Java, C#, and more. Additionally, we're always on the lookout for skilled data scientists and UI/UX designers.

What are the schedule requirements or time zone constraints?

You have the freedom to choose your work hours, but it's important to coordinate with the client, especially for calls or emails. US clients may require about 4 hours of overlap for effective communication. This ensures smooth collaboration while allowing you the flexibility to work at times that suit you best.

How will I receive the payments?

We handle monthly payments based on your logged hours for the previous month. At month-end, we calculate your payment by multiplying your hourly rate by the total hours worked. You have the flexibility to receive payments either through bank transfers or via payment services like Vise or Payoneer, allowing for easy transfer to your card.

How does tax work with Wild.Codes?

We're not tax experts, so we can't guide you on tax matters in your specific area.We recommend consulting a tax professional in your country for advice on this.

How do I determine my hourly rate?

We'll discuss and agree on your rate expectations based on various factors before considering you for a project. If you're unfamiliar with working on an hourly wage, a good starting point is to divide your recent monthly salary by 160 (the average number of work hours per month) to estimate your hourly rate.

Do I need to sign a contract?

Yes, we require a standard B2B contract that mirrors the terms agreed upon with both our clients and developers. It ensures that all parties are aware of and responsible for their agreed-upon conditions and responsibilities, providing a guarantee for everyone involved.
