Background

Tourzy is a Kuwait-based startup backed up by K Ventures fund. K Ventures is a management consultancy exclusively working with early-stage tech startups across the West Coast USA, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia.

Challenge

Embarking on a full-cycle platform development, K Ventures faced the daunting task of integrating extensive business analysis and product management workshops into one cohesive effort. Their initial collaboration with a contractor did not yield the desired results, leading to a reluctance to trust a new partner.

However, Wild.Codes LAB's alignment in process, communication, and product development philosophy eventually earned the opportunity to collaborate with K Ventures on the Tourzy app project, signifying a turning point in their journey.

Solution

Wild.Codes LAB's journey with Tourzy began with a kick-off product discovery workshop, establishing a common ground for collaboration. Our team, prioritizing effective communication, dove into competitor research and user flow creation, followed by wireframe approval and UI design. The platform was crafted using Laravel for backend stability and Vue.js, HTML5, & CSS3 for a dynamic frontend.

Navigating through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, our commitment to transparent communication was key in successfully completing the project amidst unprecedented circumstances.
