What do people ask before they hire through these pages?

Where do Wild.Codes engineers work from?

On subscription, most of our engineers work remotely from Eastern Europe and Latin America, through our network of 15,000+ engineers, and we also work with partner teams in Africa. For a permanent hire, we search our own pool and the open market where your role is, including local candidates when the role is on-site.

What does a remote developer cost through Wild.Codes?

On subscription, a senior engineer costs $6,400 to $9,600 a month, all-in. That price covers payroll, contracts, compliance and PTO, with a 160-hour monthly minimum and no placement fee. A permanent hire has a one-time fee from 12% of the engineer's annual salary, paid on the start date. There is no cost until you hire.

Should I hire on subscription or as a permanent hire?

Subscription suits a role you want filled without adding an employee to your payroll. We run payroll and contracts, and average retention on subscription is about 1.5 years. A permanent hire suits a role you want on your own payroll from day one: the first vetted candidates arrive within 5 workdays, and your team keeps its own interview process.

How are engineers vetted before I see them?

When you confirm a role, the full search starts. CVs become structured profiles, and each shortlisted engineer gets a scored written assessment and a timed video interview for your role, reviewed by AI and by a person. A talent manager signs off the shortlist, and you watch the interviews before you spend your own time. The vetting process page has each step, and the homepage shows how the AI hiring engine works.
